If you are an internal trainer, facilitator or HR business partner that delivers training internally, getting certified in DISC can add great value and many benefits within an organization. Being certified in the DISC instrument will allow you the flexibility to provide trainings to employees, teams and individual needs more immediately. It can be used for one person or groups of people to improve communication, team work, and overall job effectiveness.

KerrHill has been teaching and certifying our client HR business partners for over 34 years. We utilize and teach the instrument globally and have a deep understanding of the assessment and its application in personal/professional and team development applications. Our facilitators are deeply versed in the tool and are able to provide real world insights to clients in the certification process.

Getting DISC certified is an easy process and can be accomplished in 8-hour workshop delivered in either a live or virtual format. Once you are certified, you will be able to begin delivering DISC workshops.  To ensure you feel confident teaching DISC post certification, you also receive a one-hour, one-on-one coaching session with a KerrHill consultant.

The DISC certification takes eight hours to complete and can be delivered live on site or virtually in two four-hour sessions.

You will be able to teach/facilitate DISC learning sessions to others, debrief and coach others on their DISC report results, understand the key elements of DISC and use that knowledge to help other people understand the instrument.

DISC is an acronym for the four dimensions of human behavior we all have in us; Dominance, Influencing, Steadiness and Compliance.
You can learn more about DISC through our “Learn more about DISC” webpage, or contact us with any questions.

Based on our certification process, you should be able to teach and debrief DISC immediately after completing the certification process. Learning a new assessment comes with practice and to the degree in which you learn and apply the instrument, will determine how quickly you will feel comfortable in teaching it.

Yes, we can set certified clients up with access to our library of DISC reports after certification. There is a cost to each report, but you will be able to utilize reports as soon as you would like.

Certifications are good for two years.

We can certify people and teams live, onsite at their company location or virtually through Zoom.

The Know DISC videos were designed to help our clients:

  • Get a quick comprehensive overview of the four dimensions of DISC in 16 minutes
  • Understand the tool if they missed a formal DISC debrief
  • Use as a quick way to refresh their understanding of the DISC tool
